Missing Natore priest rescued from Sylhet

Walter William Rozario, 42, the missing priest from Natore, has been rescued from Sylhet on Friday afternoon (today).

Natore District Police rescued him from a bus counter of Kadamtali Bus Stand area of Sylhet’s Dakshin Surma Upazila nearly five days after being abducted from Natore.

Dakshin Surma Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Khairul Fazal has confirmed the news.

He also said: “He (Rozario) has been rescued and sent to Dhaka immediately.”

Walter William Rozario, an assistant priest of a Catholic Church in Natore’s Boraigram upazila, went missing on November 27.
