Life is full due to coming to Chittagong: Pranab Mukherjee

Pranab Mukherjee, Former President of India, said that in Chittagong, there was no harm in life. He said, now that life has become full due to coming to Chittagong.

Pranab said this at a fair gathering organized by the Indian Assistant High Commission on Redisan Blue in the city on Tuesday night.

He said that the plan to come to Chittagong for a lifetime was planned long ago. Many times in Bangladesh, never came to Chittagong. Now the end is going on. I do not want to go into the hereafter with displeasure. The expectations were fulfilled by coming to Chittagong.

Highlighting the history and heritage of Chittagong, he said, "Master Dhya Surya Sen, Pritilata and many heroes jamma in Chittagong. Declaration of the freedom fighter of Bangladesh has also been read from Chittagong. Historically important Chittagong is important. So, the greed of seeing history can not cope with Chittagong.

Indian High Commissioner Harsabhade Sringla spoke in advance. Anganwati officials of Chittagong were present on the occasion. Later City mayor AHM Nasir Uddin presented the key to the city.
