A girl named Kakali Khanam (19), who was on hunger strike for two days in a house of her boyfriend in Sitikund village of Kotalipara upazila of Gopalganj, demanded his wife's recognition. The woman said she would commit suicide if she did not recognize her.
According to local sources, Kakali Khanam (19), daughter of Siddique Talukdar of Mandra village, had a love relationship with Arman Sheikh (25), son of Akbar Ali Sheikh of Sitakunda village. Four months after the matter was heard, Siddiq Talukdar Kakoli was forced to marry in nearby Ashutia village. After two days of marriage, after the boyfriend Arman, Kakoli left her husband's house and fled to Dhaka with Arman's hand.
Kakoli divorced husband in Arman's words while fleeing Dhaka. After some time, Kakali married Arman Kakoli on 18 December when Armaan pressured for marriage. After some days of marriage, Armaan Kakali left her brother at home and stopped the communication. Then Kakali failed to communicate with Armaan in various ways and came to his house two days ago.
On Tuesday, Kakoli was seen sitting in the village of Sitakunda in front of Arman's house. Kakali said, there was no way I could get out of this way. Seeing me at home, Arman escaped without saying anything. If he does not recognize my wife then I will commit suicide.
Arman's father Akbar Ali Sheikh said, we do not know anything about the marriage of Armaan and Kakoli. We are trying to contact Armen. But getting off his mobile phone. We will not be able to make any decision about Kakali until we approach Arman.
